We are looking for our new General Manager for the Paris Nation hostel (11th district).
At the head of a team of over 10 people, you’ll be responsible for delivering our exacting service standards on a daily basis, with the primary aim of satisfying our customers both in the hostel and in the bar/restaurant.
Experienced in F&B, you’ll be in charge of revitalizing our catering offer both at lunchtime and in the evening.
You also guarantee strict control of our operating costs and full compliance with our procedures and current regulations.
As a team leader, you set yourself the goal, every day, of developing the skills of your talents so that they can operate independently.
You report directly to our Operations Manager
Profile required:
As an experienced operator, you’ll already have good management experience in the hotel and especially restaurant sectors, ideally in pubs/hostels. You know how to set an example behind the bar on a busy night, while delegating and taking a step back, always passing on your know-how and enthusiasm to your team.
You’re strategic and curious, you understand the priorities of your Hostel and the Group, and you’re able to build an action plan with your Operations Manager. You share this vision with your team, and you share it individually with each member to listen to them and help them progress.
Proud of your product, you know how to talk about it and promote it locally. You love to travel, you love hospitality, you have the charisma of a bar manager and the attention to detail of a fastidious hotelier. You have a perfect command of French and English, and you have an operating permit. Excel holds no secrets for you, and you know how to manage a PMS.
