We’re looking for our new General Manager for the Lille hostel. At the head of a team of over 10 people, you will be responsible for delivering our demanding service standards on a daily basis, with the primary aim of satisfying our customers both in the hostel and in the bar/restaurant.
Experienced in F&B, you will be in charge of boosting our catering offer both at lunchtime and in the evening. You will also guarantee strict control of our operating costs and full compliance with our procedures and current regulations. As a team leader, your daily objective is to develop the skills of your talents so that they can operate independently. You report directly to our Operations Manager.
Profile required: Experienced operative, you already have good management experience in the hotel and especially restaurant sectors, ideally in pubs/hostels. You know how to lead by example behind the bar on a busy night, while delegating and taking a step back, always passing on your know-how and enthusiasm to your team. You’re strategic and curious, you understand the priorities of your hostel and the Group, and you’re capable of building an action plan with your Operations Manager. You share this vision with your team, and individually with each member to listen and help them progress. Proud of your product, you know how to talk about it and promote it locally. You love to travel, you love hospitality, you have the charisma of a bar manager and the attention to detail of a meticulous hotelier. You’re fluent in French and English, and you’ve got a business license. Excel holds no secrets for you, and you know how to manage a PMS.
